Nadine Elise Bolger, MD

I was born in the south suburbs and grew up in Orland Park. My family and I currently reside in the western suburbs. 

My undergraduate studies were completed in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University.  I attended medical school at the University of Illinois-Chicago. I completed my training in obstetrics and gynecology at the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. 

Following completion of my residency training, I practiced with Lake Shore Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prentice Women’s Hospital/Northwestern Memorial Hospital from 2006 until 2024. 

I am board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I am a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and a member of the: American College of Obstetrician-Gynecologists, The Menopause Society, the Obesity Medicine Association, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology   

While I cherished my time in obstetrics, as both my patients and I are aging, I am realizing the overwhelming complexity of optimizing women's health in midlife and beyond.  While we know so much more in the 21st century than we did when I was in medical school in the 1990s, there are still so many questions and research that needs to be done!  My goal is to provide a safe and informative sanctuary for women who have completed their families and are interested in the "best medicine."  To me, the term "best medicine" refers to  1) providing patients with sound information based in science and agreed upon by experts in our field 2) spending time to listen to a patient's concerns and explain conditions, risks and benefits of treatments (as well as NOT treating) and 3) ensuring appropriate patient understanding.  I was finding this increasingly challenging in a traditional medical practice and decided to fashion a new option for women.   

As of September 2024, I practice at Nouvelle Women's Health, www.nouvellewomenshealth.com a novel option for women who seek a trusting relationship with and better access to their doctor.
